The Church of Pentecost has been designated by the Dutch Tax Authority (Belastingdienst) as a Public Benefit Organization (Algemeen Nut Beogende Instelling – ANBI).
This ANBI status means that the Church of Pentecost does not have to pay gift tax or inheritance tax on donations and legacies we receive. As a result, the full amount donated is used to support the mission ad activities of the church.

Mission and Vision
Stichting COP City Churches is based in Nijmegen and aims to carry out and practice the mission given by Jesus Christ in:
- Mark 16:15–16 — “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.”
- Matthew 25:40 — “Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.”
The foundation seeks to respond to this Biblical mandate by serving society, with faith, community, and care for others at its core.
Policy Plan
1. Introduction and Vision
The foundation undertakes all activities that are, in the broadest sense, related to or may promote this purpose. Its focus is on faith, community, and service to people in need.
2. Mission and Activities
The mission of Stichting COP City Churches is to actively proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ while also providing practical support to people in spiritual and social need. The foundation seeks to achieve its purpose by:
- organizing (church) services and prayer meetings;
- spreading the gospel, both physically and digitally;
- supporting and guiding (local) faith communities;
- providing Bible teaching, faith courses, and training;
- offering pastoral care and practical assistance to people in vulnerable situations;
- organizing community activities that contribute to connection and well-being.
All activities are carried out from a Christian conviction and with respect for everyone’s background.
3. Organization
The board of the foundation consists of four members:

The board is responsible for managing the foundation and meets regularly to discuss policy and progress. Board members do not receive any remuneration for their work; they may, however, be reimbursed for demonstrable expenses incurred.
4. Finances
The foundation does not aim to make a profit. All income is managed in its own bank account and used exclusively for achieving its statutory objectives. Sources of income include:
- voluntary donations from individuals and companies;
- sponsorship;
- fundraising and campaigns;
- (where applicable) subsidies from governments or institutions;
- proceeds from organized activities.
The financial administration is carefully maintained. Each year, a financial report is prepared and, where applicable, published in accordance with ANBI regulations.
5. Assets of the Foundation
The assets of Stichting COP City Churches may consist of:
- donations from supporters;
- inheritances and legacies (accepted in accordance with applicable laws and regulations);
- gifts;
- proceeds from fundraising or other supporting activities.
Any surplus funds are used to ensure the continuity of the foundation and to support future activities that align with its mission.
6. Communication
The foundation maintains contact with its community and supporters through:
- church services and gatherings;
- the official website;
- social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok;
- newsletters and other communication tools.
Transparency and engagement are core values in the foundation’s communication.
7. Evaluation
Each year the board evaluates:
- the progress of the activities carried out;
- the effectiveness of the policy;
- the financial position of the foundation;
- the involvement and growth of its community.
Based on this evaluation, policies are adjusted where necessary, with the aim of safeguarding the continuity and effectiveness of the foundation.
Remuneration Policy
Board members receive no salary or financial compensation for their work. They may only be reimbursed for actual expenses incurred in the performance of their duties.
Financial Accountability
The foundation prepares an annual financial report. Where applicable, this report is published on this page in accordance with the Dutch ANBI guidelines.
